Unfortunately this will slow down the performance of the Mac, SHOOTER especially on 68k Macs, by approx. 10-20%, regardless of the picture's filesize. Control Panels: (MacOS8) To go back to using patterns, press the Remove Picture button, and press Set Desktop. Desktop Pictures: Picture Desktop Pictures Pattern This displays how the imported picture will look. You also have to take into account that this control panel will stretch or shrink the picture to fit the current screen size. Picture You also have the options to Remove the Picture, positioning of the picture, and to make the currently opened picture file into the actual desktop background.
